Last year, I shared you guys my baby, Gucci. It was from my article entitled: “My Little Pom” and up to date, my baby has grown (he’s now 1 year and three months old) and I’m just so happy and proud of what he’s become. At 6 months I was able to potty train him, teach him some tricks and we’ve developed that kind of bonding where we already understand each other’s body language and now that he’s all grown up, he’s everything that any dog lovers would want and love to have. And yes, he’s soooo fluffy!
And because I love dogs, and it felt like just right to have someone who can always play with Gucci, I recently bought a girl pom too and named her Prada. Now I have Gucci and Prada in the house and they’ve been getting along pretty well now and couldn’t stop playing with each other!
I bet most of you guys have dogs and I’m sure you all love them so much. Isn’t it amazing how dogs were created in such a way that they instantly connect within us? They have this amazing gift of making us feel how much they love us and how much they miss us whenever we go to work and leave them at home.
Dogs have strong feelings. They know if you feel sad and trust me, they’d do anything to make you smile. They know if you’re suffering and they’ll always try their best to make you feel better. They say that dogs are the only ones who loves you more than themselves and it is really true especially on how they express extreme happiness whenever they are with us and they get so happy with that cute big smile and become so energetic when we play with them.
A dog’s life is to protect their human; to make them feel how much they love us and to let us know that they will always be a man’s best friend. It’s such a wonderful experience to be able to take the responsibility of owning a pet because not only it teaches us on how to be patient with them but it also teaches us a different side of love and trust.
Owning a dog (or pets) is a huge responsibility because it’s a bond that will last a long period of time. If only I could make my dog’s life to be as long as mine, but the only thing that I can give them is love and make their dog’s life worthwhile. They may not live as long as ours but the love and the memories that we have of them will definitely last a lifetime.
