Tokyo in the Heart of Makati (Part 1)

Who would have thought that there’s a place in Makati City called Little Tokyo? Yes, you got that right! And for those of you who loves Japanese food as much as I do, I’m so sure that you’ll like it here!

It’s basically a group of Japanese Restaurants all together, and what’s more cool is how they were able to maintain an authentic Japanese look!

So I got to try some of the restos there and I noticed that there’s this place who’s always full and a lot of people waiting in queues. It’s no other than Little Tokyo’s Urameshiya Yakiniku.

It’s actualy one of my faves! Not because they have an eat-all-you-can promo. 🙄 Okay, maybe that’s a little bit of why I like it there. It’s because of their unli Beef Wagyu Cubes! They are to die for! ❤️

And not to mention, they also have scallops, crabs, prawns and oysters! Fancy, huh?

Their eat-all-you-can promo are applicable only from Mondays-Wednesdays and it’s plainly through walk-in. So if you plan to try it out you need to hurry up and come in early unless you plan to wait for hours.

We waited for about an hour to be seated and had to cook for another 15 minutes.. so yeah..  Anyways, all good things are worth waiting for, right? 😉

In terms of price, the promo is affordable compared to other eat-all-you-can restos as it only costs around Php 500 pesos per person (excluding tax), and you get to enjoy delicious Wagyu beef cubes and more already!

The ambiance is just so-so. I find the place not properly ventilated especially they use traditional grillers. But I guess thats how you do it traditionally.

Overall, Urameshiya Yakiniku is a must-go-to place for those who wants to try something new! It’s delicious, affordable, and definitely worth waiting the long queues for.

It’s located at Amorsolo Street, Makati City along with the other Japanese Restaurants in Little Tokyo. Who knows, we might bump into each other the next time I come back there! 😉
