Before anything else, I just want to greet all of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Of course, this year I have been very busy with academics and extra-curricular activities that I’ve forgotten to write much… Indeed 2012 was a roller coaster ride for some of us, there may be some sad endings for some, but I believe that it wouldn’t last, especially that this coming year is going to be a GOOD one for all of us. 😀
New year means new life indeed; it’s time for us to pack up all of the bitterness, the sadness, sorrow and miseries that 2012 brought and start unwrapping the excitement of what 2013 might bring!
Always remember that “we become what we think we become”. If you continue to believe in yourself, you’ll have the self-confidence to prove others wrong. Just like what I’ve read on a saying: “The greatest achievement that one can be proud of himself is doing something that others say he can’t.”
Let us start the year right by bringing optimism on our journey as we again travel along with new adventures of life. Remember that thinking success is success itself. We should always take a positive outlook at everything from every little decision that we make.
Let us always remember to cherish all the happiness and joyous things that the past year has brought, as well as all of the lessons that we learned from our mistakes.
Well, I also had some of my firsts during the year 2012. Hmm…If you’re going to think of it, my first reaction to it were more of nervous than happy. But at the end of every happening, I have ended it with a smile, which is more important than anything.
In the year 2012, I had my first business launching, my 30,000 twitter followers, me being an executive board to the Management & Entrepreneurship society of SBC, being able to implement events of quality and excellence, still maintained my Dean’s List, but of course, I lost a loved one but still, took it as an inspiration to move on and continue to excel in things.
Yes, it was as I may have repeated it several times already, a roller coaster ride for me…But I know, I know that 2013 will be a greater and a bigger year for me! It’s almost graduation time and I have to do what I do best.
Always continue on making the most out of everything you have today: make the most out of the new 365 days of our lives. Make better decisions, live greatly, love more and do what you do best. Happy New Year! 🙂
