Judgement, judgement… Why so TOUGH?

Why is it that whenever we go to a certain place, there would always be something beneath those looks of others who seem to be very disturbing? I have already encountered several of that weird looking faces of strangers. It is disturbing and freaky at the same time because you’ll never know what’s going in their minds.

That is also the time when you ask yourselves, “is there something wrong with me?” Maybe there’s something wrong with my face, or teeth, or with the way I dress. These are things that occur first in our mind. Come to think of it, you’re even luckier if that particular person you’re referring to is just looking or staring at you. On worst cases, some (mostly when they’re on a group) would even laugh the hell off of you.

These people are what we often call the “Judgemental ones” because of their never-ending criticisms towards us. They may come from people who we encounter whom we don’t know, those that we know and at the same time talking behind us, and those who truly cares on telling us what they honestly feel.

Like what I said earlier, I’ve encountered several criticisms already. But I don’t mind that much because I know that all humans are critics. It’s inevitable for Homo sapiens to control themselves to make their opinions (sometimes judgements) on others because it’s everybody’s nature. Though there are just some who are too much. That is why I wrote this article. This would help us think on ways on how to deal with “too much” criticisms.

The first step is controlling. You don’t let your anger run your actions. Cause if you do, then you’ll find yourself more humiliating. You have to control your emotions, analyse it on your mind on whether is something wrong, something funny you did and etc. By controlling, you are relaxed enough on facing those criticisms.

The second step is to act naturally, of course, natural beauty is the greatest. You don’t have to feel conscious about yourself or even lose your self-confidence. Always remember that you will never please everyone. No matter how hard you try to be as perfect as perfect, you’ll just never be, because nobody is. So just be yourself because you have nothing to be ashamed of.

The third step is not only to act naturally, but act with pride. Not that you have to actually act with pride, you just have to make them see this confidence within you. If people see confidence, they won’t waste their time anymore in making fun of you. Remember, those who make fun of others see weakness with them, which is why they think that they could just make fun of you. This is the time when you prove them wrong.

Let no one criticize you. Prove them that you’re someone not to be criticized. Make them know that you are what you are, and they should accept you for who you are. After all, there is no such thing as weird people, because everyone is unique.
